We are a neighborhood pet sitting service proudly serving the Garden Oaks and adjacent areas in Houston, Texas. Having 18 years of cat ownership, 9 years of dog ownership, and 13 years of small mammal animal care experience, we have the knowledge and know-how on how to care for your pets. We currently only offer cat sitting services but expect to expand into dog sitting/walking services in the future.

I never grew up with animals, but I was always fascinated by nature and the animal kingdom, and I observed them in my backyard and the neighboring woods, as well as from watching Jacque Cousteau and Wild Kingdom. As an adult, I eventually ended up working with animals for my career, as well as volunteering at the zoo and being able to have my own pets where I grew to appreciate and care for them deeply.

Along the way, I learned the trickier parts of pet care, from administering pills, eye and skin ointments, and subcutaneous fluid treatments.

Through it all, I’ve discovered that caring for pets—especially cats—has been nothing short of purr-suasive in enriching my life

With a background as a registered nurse and years of experience caring for others, I bring compassion, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility to every pet-sitting visit. A lifelong animal lover, I have shared my home with both dogs and cats over the years and currently enjoy the company of a cat. My volunteer work at the local zoo reflects my deep appreciation for animals of all kinds. Having also worked in home health care for years, I am comfortable and respectful in clients’ homes, making me a trusted choice for in-home pet care. As a co-owner of Garden Oaks Pet Sitting, LLC, I enjoy combining my caregiving skills with my passion for animals.
